About the Artist :

Audrey Code grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. and received her degrees in painting from Carnegie-Mellon University.

She has lived and painted in Soho, New York City for many years.

Artist's Statement :

My work has always involved organic forms, ranging from abstraction to the figure, to landscape and botanical drawings.

In recent years, I have been working with forms from internal anatomy, which are then abstract in paintings and drawings
